About Petal & Leef

Petal & Leef is a small, community-rooted flower project built on a simple idea: beautiful things grow better when they’re shared.

Instead of farming on one large, distant plot of land, most of our flowers are grown in the middle of everything : think front yards, side yards, offices, places of worhship, and underused green spaces offered by community members who want more beauty outside their door. These spaces become seasonal gardens filled with color, texture, pollinators, and life - meant to be enjoyed every day, not just once they hit the vase.

We partner with homeowners, families, and organizations who may not want the work of gardening but love the presence of it. In exchange for using the land, we handle all planning, planting, maintenance, and costs usually assoiated with gardening and our hosts receive fresh bouquets throughout the season and a living landscape to enjoy from their porch or window.

This decentralized approach allows us to:

• Grow flowers sustainably without the pressure or costs of large land ownership

• Create many small pockets of beauty across our community

• Keep flowers accessible and hyper local

Our gardens are intentionally mixed: cut flowers alongside native plants, perennials, and habitat-building species. Each site is a little different, shaped by the land, the light, and the tastes of the people who live nearby. Together, they form a network of micro-farms that support pollinators, nourish soil, and bring joy to everyday spaces.

We love flowers and we think that beauty is worth sharing at every step from sprout to leaf to petal.
